Can walking through the Kaoshiung Dragon and Tiger Pagodas bring you luck?

In Kaoshiung, Taiwan, there are The Dragon and Tiger Pagodas. It is recommended to enter through the dragon’s mouth and come out the tiger’s mouth, in order to get rid of bad luck and turn it into good luck.

Like any good tourist, I did just that. I walked through thinking of my last year with heartbreak, losing a job, and friends walking out of my life. I thought of the feelings I held of not being good enough, feelings of failing and low self-worth. I walked through the pagodas and out the tigers mouth praying that doing just that will change everything.

But here is the thing.

It was not the act of walking through the pagodas that changed my luck. It was the mindset shift of visualizing and believing that I was worth enough to have good things happen to me.

Your mindset is a powerful thing. Your mindset can change how you see a situation. Your mindset can turn your thoughts into reality. Your mindset is the foundation to your self-confidence.

Since changing my mindset to a Pineapple Mindset, I have been able to:

  1. Stand tall and show off the crown I have.
  2. I have the strength to be vulnerable with others and myself.
  3. I grow in a community.

Do you want to learn how to have a Pineapple Mindset?
